CREC Coworking: Driving collaboration and innovation
Do you know the concept of coworking? We’ll explain what it is and how it is growing
To begin, what is a coworking space? A coworking space is a work environment that offers its workers the opportunity to share ideas and projects. It is important to note that at CREC Coworking, we enhance your network through our flagship service, “CREC Connect”. The Community Builders team knows your project, studies the different professional profiles that may be interesting for you, and makes a formal introduction so that each coworker can expand their network through networking.
But how did CREC Coworking begin?
Thanks to the “Club Lleuresport” team in Barcelona and the courage of Roman Calavera, CEO of CREC Coworking Barcelona and Sabadell, it was possible to embark on this adventure with enthusiasm, project management experience, and the confidence that it would be a success. Thus, CREC Poble Sec was born in 2012, featuring meeting and training rooms, a therapy room, a photography studio, an office, and various common spaces for networking.
In 2016, our expectations were surpassed thanks to our productivity and desire to share. With this support, we opened our new coworking space in Barcelona, CREC Eixample. An adapted space in the center of Barcelona where you have fixed and flexible positions, meeting rooms, an office, and private offices.
In partnership with the City Council of Barcelona and the District of Sant Andreu, we created a new concept of coworking: social return coworking. That’s why, in 2017, we opened “Sinèrgics”, a municipal coworking space housed in unused spaces in the Baró de Viver neighbourhood, where coworkers actively participate in projects that promote the development of their local environment.
But our desire to grow did not stop here, far from it. So, in 2019, we inaugurated CREC Sabadell, our first space outside Barcelona. As our CEO Román Calavera says, “coworking should be an option for everyone, not just for big cities.” And that’s what we did.
Once again, coworking led by a professional Community Builders team becomes much more than an office; it is a powerful development tool not only for the professionals who inhabit it but also for their environment.
Barcelona has established itself as a technological and business hub in Europe, attracting startups and entrepreneurs from all over the world. Its modern infrastructure, with coworking spaces and incubators, facilitates the creation of new projects. Additionally, the city offers a dynamic ecosystem that fosters innovation. Its quality of life, vibrant culture, and international connections make it attractive to talent. Thus, Barcelona is not only a tourist destination but also a center for creation and technology.
Why should you choose a coworking space for your work activity?
Coworking spaces foster collaboration and creativity. By sharing space with professionals from various sectors, new ideas and networking opportunities arise. Moreover, these spaces offer flexibility and resources that can be more accessible than a traditional office. The infrastructure, such as meeting rooms and fast internet connection, facilitates a productive environment.
Therefore, coworking has emerged as a key solution to promote collaboration and innovation in a constantly changing work environment. CREC Coworking, with its focus on networking and social return, not only offers a physical space but also cultivates a vibrant and diverse community that drives professional development and project growth. As Barcelona has established itself as a technological and business hub in Europe, spaces like CREC become essential for those looking to enhance their creativity and expand their opportunities in a dynamic ecosystem.
